After two decades leading product innovation in software technology, I decided it was time to step back from the screen and return to my first love: hands-on creation. Long before my career in tech, my background was rooted in the arts, holding a Theatre degree from the College of Charleston, where I learned the transformative power of storytelling, form, and texture.

As a proud Atlanta native, design and textiles are quite literally in my blood. My family’s roots in fiber run deep: my great-great-grandfather, John B. Broadwell, was a renowned Georgia agriculturalist known for developing Broadwell Big Boll Cotton a high-yielding strain that produced an exceptional number of cotton bolls per stalk. His champion 6-foot cotton stalk achieved wide renown and was displayed for years in the Georgia State Capitol museum. My Great-Grandfather, Bryson Coleman, managed the Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill in Atlanta, and was a patent holder for a tent and shackle construction during World War II.
